Bio:
He born in 1934, is a biologist who obtained a B.Sc. in Zoology and Botany (Honours) in Bristol University , UK, in 1955, a Ph.D. there in 1958, and a D.Sc. (Queensland)
in 1975, and after sojourns in many institutions, including Corpus Christi, Cambrigge, is now an Emeritus Professor, University of Queensland, Australia. He married in 1958 and has two daughters
and six granchildren. He worked as an Education Officer in Tanganyika (now Tanzania) from 1958-1961. While there he painted a few water colours (of which some are exhibited here) but throughout
his subsequent scientific career had very little time to paint, despite a life long interest in Art. At 75 year of age he is at last able to turn seriously to painting and hopes for a late blossoming in acrylics and oils.
